DATA CONTROLLER
This information refers to the processing of personal data necessary to manage the relationship with WeWorld, both in terms of sending information and communication materials and in terms of donations and purchases made through the www.weworlf and related sites.
The "Data Controller"
Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation), we hereby inform that WeWorld Switzerland Foundation is the Data Controller and will process the personal data collected in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30 June 2003, as amended and supplemented (Personal Data Protection Code).

Types of data processed
The data processed by WeWorld are personal and identification data - first name, last name, date and place of birth - contact data - e-mail address and/or physical address, telephone number - freely provided by the person (hereinafter referred to as the data subject) in order to interact with and/or financially support WeWorld via the institutional website.
In the case of donations or purchases, the data required to finalise payment, according to the chosen method, is also processed. All data relating to payment will also be processed, according to the chosen method. All payment data will be processed in encrypted form.
Purpose and legal basis of data processing
For newsletter subscription: WeWorld will process the personal data - personal, identification and contact data - provided in order to keep in touch and to send newsletters or other popular and informative products. The legal basis for the processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller.
For Donations or other forms of economic support to the Foundation: WeWorld will process the personal data - personal, identification and contact and payment data - provided to enable the management of the donation or order and the possible delivery of the purchased materials or for operations instrumental to this. The legal basis of the processing is the need to execute the request of the person concerned, who has decided to financially support the activities of the Foundation through a donation or an online purchase. In the case of donations or orders, in the absence of your consent to data processing the organisation will not be able to proceed with the management of the donation or purchase you have requested.
Data recipients and dissemination
Your data will be processed exclusively by WeWorld staff and employees.
In the case of donations and/or purchases, your data may also be processed by persons expressly appointed as data processors, and solely for the purpose of managing the donation or order and the possible delivery of the materials purchased or for operations that are instrumental to this, such as payment. Such data will not be disseminated in any way.
Modalities of data processing and storage
Your personal data is processed exclusively by electronic means, including through the use of automated tools. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
Your data is kept for the period of time strictly necessary for the pursuit of the purposes indicated in this policy and will be deleted at the end of this period, unless the data has to be kept for legal obligations or to enforce a right in court.
With regard to subscription to the newsletter and/or communications on education and awareness initiatives conducted by WeWorld, the data will be stored and processed for a maximum period of 5 years, at the end of which it will be deleted unless the data subject expresses a contrary will.
Rights of data subjects
As a data subject, you have the right to obtain, in the cases provided for, access to your personal data, rectification (correction), deletion of your data or restriction of the processing of your data, or to object to the processing of your data on the basis of your consent, which can be revoked at any time.
