The Context
In the last year, we worked in 14 countries addressing the causes of food insecurity due to structural poverty, conflicts, or climate phenomena through an integrated approach. We identify the poorest families to detect and prevent acute and chronic malnutrition, increase food availability, and improve diets, while combating poverty with agricultural inputs. We provide food to approximately 70,000 people through direct distributions, cash transfers, and food vouchers, which can be spent at partner merchants, thus supporting the local economy.
- 742 thousand People reached
- 250 thousand Food kits distributed
- 517 thousand Kilograms of food distributed
We promote technical training, supply seeds and equipment to increase food production and enrich family diets. To combat malnutrition, we raise awareness in communities, focusing on change agents: women, community leaders, health staff, and teachers.
